Amelia Fuller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, CA. Santa Clara University (SCU) is a predominantly undergraduate institution, and Dr. Fuller’s research is conducted exclusively with undergraduates. Her research program focuses on the synthesis and study of N-substituted oligoamide peptidomimetics, including understanding the structural features of peptoids. Dr. Fuller is passionate about teaching students through their involvement in a diverse set of research projects; SCU undergraduates work with Dr. Fuller both in her independent research laboratory and in an introductory organic chemistry laboratory class.
Prior to joining the faculty at SCU in 2008, Dr. Fuller was an NIH postdoctoral fellow at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. Dr. Fuller also holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and a B.S. from Davidson College.
