Anne J. McNeil is an HHMI Professor and Arthur F. Thurnau Professor of Chemistry and Macromolecular Science and Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to Michigan, she was a postdoctoral scholar with Prof. Timothy M. Swager at MIT, a Ph.D. student with Prof. David B. Collum at Cornell University, and a B.S. student with Dr. Rob Hinkle from the College of William and Mary. Her research interests include chemical education, as well as the design and synthesis of novel organic materials. She is the proud mom of two beautiful children – Evan and Emily.
